3.0 How do I handle lost time?

What we have seen and would recommend to use would be to use a sale code that isn't billed to a Work Order.

You would need to create a Sales Code that wouldn't be a customer sale but rather an internal expense.  You could set that Sales Code up with the "Lost Time" Checkbox set so that it is available for employees to clock into or if you don't set that up you would just need to dispatch that Work Order to all your internal employees.  

Your Internal Employees would need to be setup as Mechanics to allow them to clock into the internal Work Order.  

From there you can use the new Mechanic Time Clock feature under the General Tab in Softbase to allow a user to enter their Mechanic Number and clock in and out of the above Internal WO created.  

You will probably want to close out the Internal WO on a monthly basis and invoice it out so you can account for how to handle the accounting side.
