3.0 Receiving a SQL Truncate Error when attempting to close a Work Order

Modified on Thu, 16 Oct at 10:56 AM

When receiving a SQL Error upon attempting to Save or Close a Work Order, check the error message for the length of the Bill To Name or Ship To Name. If the value is longer than 50 characters, the Save and Close of the Work Order will not allow that. In this case the Work Order was created when the Customer Name was not longer than 50 characters, but then it was changed to longer than 50 Characters in the Customer Form after the Work Order was opened. If you went to Close the Work Order it would provide the SQL Truncate Error.
