Requirement: Softbase Connect version 2.23 or later is required to use these enhancements.
Document Control Number Updates
- When an Open Work Order is created from the Mobile App and the selected Equipment record has a Control Number, the Equipment Control Number is now automatically assigned as the Document Control Number on the Service 1 tab of the Work Order.
- When the Serial Number is changed on an existing Work Order through the Mobile App, the Document Control Number is now updated to match the Control Number associated with the newly selected Equipment record.
Customer AR Terms
- New Work Orders created from the Mobile App now automatically use the AR Terms assigned to the selected Customer.
Equipment Number Support
- Quotes can now be created from the Mobile App for Equipment records containing a forward slash in the equipment number.
- Quotes created for these Equipment records can also be successfully converted into Open Work Orders.
- Open Work Orders can also be created directly from the Mobile App for Equipment records containing a forward slash.
Work Order Recap Comments
- Fixed an issue where long Work Order recap comments that exceeded one page could be truncated.
- Recap comments now display in their entirety when viewed from both the Mobile App and Softbase Evolution.
- When the Work Order recap is included during document printing in Softbase Evolution, the complete comment is now printed without being cut off.
Taxable Status and Tax Calculation
- Quotes and Open Work Orders created from the Mobile App are now automatically marked as potentially taxable, consistent with documents created directly in Softbase Evolution.
- Tax is calculated correctly when parts, labor, or other detail is added to the Work Order.
