Invoicing window / Company window: On the Company window under the Invoicing tab, a new check box option has been added labeled "Quote to Order: Hold Parts from Posting".
On the Invoicing window under the Parts tab, a new check box option has been added labeled "WO Hold". You will only see the WO Hold check box on a Quote, not a Work Order. If the Company check box option is checked, all Quotes will initial have the WO Hold checked, but can be unchecked at anytime. Likewise, if the Company check box option is not checked, the WO Hold option will initial not be checked, yet can be checked at any subsequent time, if needed.
If this WO Hold check box option is checked and the Quote is converted to an Order, any Parts on the Quote will not be posted to the new Order, but will be available in a holding place. Under the Parts tab, on an Order, if there are parts in the holding place, a new Green Arrow button will appear toward the top middle of the Parts tab (a tooltip will confirm the correct button).
When clicked, a new window will appear with a list of all the parts on hold from the Quote. You can then select from the list of held parts which ones you would like to post to the work order. The parts will be sorted by Section, Part #, and Warehouse. You can either individually check the parts you want to import, or use either the All or None buttons. If no parts are highlighted, the All button will check all parts in the list and the None button will un-check all of the parts in the list. However, if you highlight multiple parts, for example all the parts for specific Section, the All button will check all of the parts highlight, and likewise the None button will un-check all of the highlighted parts. Upon clicking the Done button, the checked parts will be imported to the Work Order. If any parts need to be back ordered, you will be prompted as usual for each.
