Enhancement
The From/To information used in emails sent by Evolution has been updated. The “From” field will now display the Company Name, while the “To” field will reflect the “Attention To” recipient.
Equipment
Equipment Setup - Unit Type
A new parameter was added to the Equipment setup page so users can specify the unit type of a unit being added to the system.
Unit Types are: Lift Truck, Battery/Charger, Trailer
Any units set up prior to this release will be set as a Unit Type of Lift Truck by default.
The Specs tab will display fields based on the unit type selected and will be pulled up with default values as per Model configuration.
The Add’l Specs tab will be hidden if the Battery/Charger unit type is selected.
The Model selector is now filtered by the Unit Type and the Model Group selectors.
Model Setup
A new parameter was added to the Model setup page so users can specify which unit type belongs to each model added to the system.
Unit Types are: Lift Truck, Battery/Charger, Trailer
All current models will be set up with Lift Truck by default.
Users can set up default specifications for the unit type that was selected for the model. This will allow users to not type in manual information in the Specs tab whenever they create a new unit with that specific model.
Equipment Advanced Search
A new filter was added to allow users to filter by Unit Type.
Import Equipment
The import equipment function has been updated to handle the Unit Type parameter in the equipment creation.
Invoicing
The taxability logic for auto charges from the Department and Auto Charge Profile has been changed. Taxability should follow the WO configuration in the Rate/Taxes tab regardless of their taxability setup. The system will look at the Department and Auto Charge Profile setup for cases in which the WO Tax misc non-taxable flag is marked as false.
Reports
The Sales Tax Summary Absolute report within the Accounting group has been enhanced.
Two new columns: Total Sales Including Tax and Total Sales Not Including Tax.
Subtotals are now labeled as Tax Type + Total: e.g.: Local Total.
A Grand Total section was added at the end of the report that sums all subtotals.
Permissions
A new permission was added under the Technician group for controlling access to the equipment meter reading update feature in the Softbase Mobile App: Update Equipment Meter Reading.
This requires the Softbase Service Mobile App 2.2.42 or higher.
Issues
AP Payment
The issue with incorrect Check # validation in the Beginning Check # field, which was incorrectly identifying non-duplicate Check #s as duplicates, has been resolved.
Dispatch
The error users were facing when resizing the column's width has been resolved.
Parts
The Bin Change History is now considering the Bin the Part was when it was changed to the new Bin location.
Invoice Change
The issue causing incorrect updates to the Rental Contract Start/End dates has been resolved. Now, only the Invoice Start/End dates will be updated as intended.
Reports
The AP Aging report within the AP group has been updated due to information not being printed properly based on the date provided.
Invoicing
The issue that was closing the Packing Slip report preview has been resolved.
The Sell price used when adding parts in the Parts tab is now reading from the customer configuration in the Rates/Taxes tab.
The issue that was not pulling up the Equipment Unit when selecting a Unit # in the Service 1 tab has been addressed. In addition to this, unit # value remains after a page refresh.
