Softbase Service App - Setup

This article covers how to download and setup Softbase Service on the devices your technicians will use to work the dispatched Work Orders to them.  


  1. Download the Softbase Service Mobile Application from the Apple or Google Play Store.  
  2. Once downloaded open the application and choose the Settings Page should open for the first time.  

  1. Choose the Add button
  2. Enter a Name for the API, this is just informational and can be your dealer name, Connect, etc....
  3. Enter the Softbase Connect URL that was provided to you by the team at your dealership.
    1. If this URL isn't setup then contact Softbase for assistance setting that up.
  4. Choose Save after you have saved your URL
  5. Go to the Main Menu and choose Login and enter your credentials that have been provided by your dealership to access this application
    1. These are the same credentials that were used for the original Softbase Mobile Application.  
  6. When logging in the first time it will direct you back to the settings page to ask you to select he default warehouse.  
    1. Place your focus in the Default warehouse field and choose a Warehouse from the options at the bottom of the screen.  
  7. After selecting the Default Warehouse you can go back to the Main Menu and choose Home to being using the application.  

After the Warehouse has been setup from the steps above this is what your settings page should look similar to with a your specific Name and URL
