Removing parts and labor pricing from invoices for a customer

Users can suppress parts pricing for a specific customer and remove detail labor prices/hours from invoices as needed.

Suppress Parts Pricing

To prevent individual parts prices from displaying on invoices:

1. Go to Accounting > Customers.
2. Open the applicable customer and click Edit.
3. Select the Parts tab.
4. Check Suppress Parts Pricing.
5. Click Save.

This suppresses the customer's individual parts prices when printing invoices. It only affects how pricing is displayed and does not change the actual amounts billed.

Suppress Labor Rate and Hours

For labor, there are separate customer-level display options:

1. Go to Accounting > Customers.
2. Open the applicable customer and click Edit.
3. Select the Rates tab.
4. Leave the following options unchecked:
   • Show Labor Rate on Invoice
   • Show Labor Hours on Invoice
5. Click Save.

These settings will hide the labor hourly rate and/or labor hours from the invoice. However, the total labor charge will still be displayed.

Currently, there is not a customer- or sale-code-specific setting to suppress all labor dollar amounts while continuing to display other invoice pricing.
