3.0 Using Microsoft Office 365 to send emails from Softbase

Microsoft has limited users of Office 365 or Microsoft 365 to a limit of 30 messages sent per minute, and a limit of 10,000 recipients per day. Many Softbase 3.0 users have found that mass emailing activities such as Final invoicing or Statements hits this limit.

Limitations of SMTP AUTH client submission

You can only send from one email address unless your device can store login credentials for multiple Microsoft 365 or Office 365 mailboxes. Microsoft 365 or Office 365 imposes a limit of 30 messages sent per minute, and a limit of 10,000 recipients per day.

At this time there doesn't appear to be another option for customers of Office 365. We recommend using a 3rd Party SMTP relay service for these types of emails. Such as Mailgun, MailChimp, SendGrid or Mailjet
