1. Under the Accounting section from the main menu, click "Chart Of Accounts"
2. Click "Add Chart Of Accounts"
3. Click the "Account # (Required)" field and enter your account number.
4. Click the "Description (Required)" field and enter the account name.
5. From the Account Type drop down menu select the type of account.
A=Asset, L=Liability, S=Sale, C=Cost, E=Expense
6. Click the "Item" field and enter the account number, this is for reporting purposes.
7. Click the "Description" field and enter the account name, this is also for reporting purposes.
8. Select the correct report type for this account.
9. Click "Save" to save the new account.
